In other words, like I've cultivated a sense of taste simply through living an interesting life: watching films, looking at art, reading literature, and maybe pilfering through my grandma's closet. Couple that with the vacation energy of having just touched down on an obscure Mediterranean island, and there you have it. Fashion people were already buzzing about Bottega Veneta's new creative director, Louise Trotter, but the house's appointment of Musetti as brand ambassador drew in tennis enthusiasts, too. Another celebrity inspiring me right now is Sabrina Carpenter, who took a birthday selfie in her hotel room at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California, which I was lucky enough to visit recently. How dreamy is that floral wallpaper? I would wear it from head to toe if I could—it would look perfect paired with a pastel Tag Heuer watch. Lastly, I've been looking through old Vogue covers because of the news that Anna Wintour is looking for someone to replace her as the magazine's top editor. A 1992 cover with Naomi Campbell and Christy Turlington caught my eye because of the impeccable nautical vibes that I want to re-create this summer."

"Disclaimer: Summer is my least favorite season, so I tend to really lean into shopping and outfit planning for it, mostly to distract myself from the heat, humidity, and bugs. But enough of the negativity—I've come across endless style inspiration as of late to inform my summer aesthetic. Long jorts are officially an essential this season, and are perfect for easy weekend wear. Throw on with Birkenstocks or trainers, a classic white t-shirt and you're set.

Style Notes: If there's one denim trend that dominates every summer, it's white jeans. Whatever silhouette you prefer, white denim is perfect for sunny days, whether you go for an all-white ensemble or use it as a backdrop for a pop of bright colour.

Style Notes: A-listers like Kendall Jenner and Margot Robbie are all backing the cuffed jeans trend this year. For summer, embrace their versatility — dress down an oversized pair with flat sandals or trainers, or dress them up with a heel and great bag.

If seeing Hailey Bieber and Alexa Chung wear the same style of heels within the same month doesn't get your trend senses tingling, I don't know what will. (Better yet, Bieber wore the style twice this summer!) Clear heels are so back—just like most trends from the 2010s are—and celebrities aren't the only ones embracing the trend. This shoe style's refresh has won the hearts of fashion people everywhere.

In terms of fashion trends, this revival makes sense: Clear shoes and jelly sandals have taken over the streets this summer—you'd be hard-pressed to leave the house without seeing a pair styled with a breezy sundress. Not to mention, sheer and transparent styles from lacy skirts to mesh tops are continuing to have a moment, so naturally, shoes are following suit. The 2025 version of the clear heel is less stuffy than its previous pointed-toe, dressed-up iteration. It's not being paired with a bandage body-con dress (although those are on-trend too). Instead, the new clear heel silhouettes feel more playful, and their styling reflects that.
